Ringwood Carnival would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who took part in our processions and for making Carnival 2025 such a fantastic success! We saw some amazing floats and entries through the streets of Ringwood. Our judges certainly found it a difficult task to select the winners! Those entries who did win were awarded a cash donation for their chosen charity, school, registered club or good cause. Their donations were as follows.

Thank you to the general public for generously donating all the pennies in our collection buckets (carried by all those who took part in the processions) in 2025. We have now counted all these pennies and in accordance with the Carnival Constitution, the Trustees have now reviewed all applications made and donated funds for 2025.

What is the Donation Process?

Once all pennies collected have been counted together with all other income accounted the surplus can then be calculated after the costs of the Carnival have been settled, the final surplus of the event can be calculated and independently verified.  This figure is then confirmed to the Ringwood Carnival Executive Committee.  This committee reviews all donation applications received during the year, forming a short list of the of Charities who are then awarded a donation at the end of the calendar year.
